Hoss50 Report post Posted Saturday at 07:59 PM I am helping a friend sell a rifle. Remington 700 PSS LTR (Light Tactical Rifle). This is an ex-LEO rifle from my understanding. 20" fluted barrel with 5r rifling is what I was told. It is not threaded, there is a color blemish at the end of the barrel that resembles a thread protector. The stock is factory and is HS Precision with aluminum bedding according to research and a friend. Trigger is an upgraded factory remington trigger. Bottom metal is drop plate and metal. Hawke 3x12x56 scope with unknown rings and bases. CVLife bipod. $1000 OBO.

Hoss50 Report post Posted Sunday at 01:43 AM As it sits this rifle is just under 10lbs. The owner is motivated to sell, so if you have a reasonable offer, let's talk.
MRL1984 Report post Posted Sunday at 08:34 PM Any idea on rifle only price? ETA- also where is the rifle located?
Hoss50 Report post Posted Sunday at 10:46 PM He wants to sell it as a package. I see bare rifles on gunbriker for $850. I have the rifle in glendale AZ. I can meet other place in Phoenix Metro though.
AdamE90 Report post Posted Monday at 10:46 AM I agree with Nitemann. Also, Gunbroker isn’t a bad place to look but it’s important to remember that it’s an auction website and people can ask or set minimum bids at whatever they want. Doesn’t mean the rifle will sell at that price. I picked up a PSS in .223 a couple months ago with a scope and bipod for significantly less than they go for on gunbroker. Hoss50 Report post Posted Monday at 01:49 PM After looking at the LTR, it does appear to be an LTR. The price is negotiable, I am just using gun broker as a starting point.
STWslinger Report post Posted Monday at 01:59 PM Hoss, this is 100% an LTR. I have the same one. You are also right on with the price. I believe I paid $900 for mine. This is one of the best rifles Remington ever made. Mine shoots everything I throw through it about 3/4in. It shoots a 168 gold dot hand load under 1/2in. Good luck with sale!
