14x16 wall tent-price lowered

Recommended Posts

For sale is my Wilderness wall tent, sold by the Wall tent shop.  Good web site, you can learn about this tent there.  Anyway, I purchased this from someone recently and was gettting ready to set it up and came to the conclusion it’s way heavier than I want to deal with.  Great for somebody who isn’t 76, lol.  I want something I can set up solo, and this isn’t it.  Pictures are info from their web site.  14x16, fire, water, and mildew treated, full 1 in. 4 rafter internal frame, full fly-never opened, screen door on front, window on sides and back, all ropes and heavy stakes. 5 in. Opening for wood stove. If you ordered this tent you would pay just under $2700 .  I’m asking $1250 for all.  Will also sell just the tent and fly for $1000-you make your own frame.  DM me.  Thanks, Tom

Kodiak Canvas Flex Bow is what you want.

I have 10x14 and a solo set up is under 15-ish minutes by a person in their late 60s.

GLWS,

Eddie

I have one of those…great tent, but I want a tent that will accommodate a wood stove as well as 3-4 people.

Yes, 4 adults is a not-gonna-happen in a KC FB tent that's for sure.

I've been contemplating installing a stove jack in mine, but I hate the idea of doing so since it's so weather and rain proof from the factory.

I have a 10x10 and I’d say 5mins solo maybe less

I have a 10x14 and switching from stakes and a hammer to lag bolts and an impact definitely sped things up too. For those of you that have them definitely look into lag bolts

Which ones do you have good luck with? Brand name or generic on amazon

Some additional info.  Tent weighs 85#,  not exceptionally heavy for a wall tent this size-just heavier than I want to deal with at my age.  Looking to replace it with a lightweight one….47#.  Open to trade if anybody has a lighter one.
