Guide Hunter Weems Raided?

Word around the campfire is Hunter Weems was raided by game and fish, as well as several of his guides. Anyone got more details?

I haven’t heard anything. What were they raided for?

I believe this is what's called malicious gossip and starting rumors  if you have no facts or details....just saying.

I think that's why he was asking.  He "heard" that it happened and is asking if anyine knows more.

I will start by saying I have no skin in the game but will say that I have talked to Hunter about this. I have known Hunter before him even beginning his career with A3 and was always a respectful guy around me and in my opinion a decent guy. 

Hunter stated that he had a guide that was apparently under investigation for the last 2-3 years by game and fish. He said he was not aware of the investigation when he hired him with AZ Custom Hunts. He said that he was on the strip when this "incident" took place and that the guides were terminated immediately. He also said the guide in question was not in camp when it took place, although were supposed to be.

So why did they serve a warrant on Hunter's house?

Sounds like some BS from Hunter to redirect away from the fact he got raided. But I guess we will see.

I guess I don’t understand why you don’t reach out to Hunter and find out since you are doubting what we have heard and are saying. Let us know what you find out!
