northAZarcher Report post Posted 21 hours ago I'm looking for a small lake somewhere within Phoenix that would be good to take the grandson. He's only 2, but looks 4🤣, so just looking for a lake that has plenty of stockers. He keeps talking about grandpa taking him fishing so need a good place to take him. He can run around while I watch his pole!!🤣 Thanks Also, he lives north valley if that helps with area.
PRDATR Report post Posted 20 hours ago Follow this link. As a person who had a grandfather I was able to spend a week with him every summer until he passed when I was nine. I caught the bug early and remember catching flounder with him and my father from a rowboat on Long Island Sound at three in the 50's. Like most every kid, I idolized him. Go get him a Spiderman pole with a pushbutton reel on it. https://www.azgfd.com/fishing-2/where-to-fish/community-fishing/

knothead Report post Posted 3 hours ago I take my grand daughters to Paloma Park in north Peoria. Had the most luck on the east side of like for stocker trout. Worms mostly and rainbow power bait worked best. They end up playing with all the worms.
