If it is, I’m screwed.  I don’t do nice.

That seems clear, yet you seem to expect others to "do nice". Be well.

I've decided not to proceed. It's a very long drive and I should not have to justify myself.

Next time post

"Free to Whom I choose at my discretion, justification required."

That would be more honest.

In retrospect, you're kinda right. I should have included in the post, Boarman can have dibs after the rest of the users have had 24hrs to claim it.

I dont think it's lame. While I have done deals with Boarman in the past, and he has been fair, Im sure I speak for many who may feel they missed out on a "deal" or "giveaway" because Boarman was first to post. Many may only get on here once a day, and while it's usually "first come first served", it would be nice to have others have the opportunity to those same deals. Probably won't change, but I appreciate Tony for speaking up. Seems fair to those who felt like they always miss out. Might not be popular... just my 2 cents.

A private message (PM) would have been appropriate. You know I'm fair and if he had expressed his desire that others get the items then we could have discussed it and come to a fair resolution.

There have been a lot of things that I have seen that were great deals that I passed on. Some because of distance, some because I did not feel that I needed those items as much as someone else might.

It's pretty obvious Tony intentionally went public to make a statement publicly.

So, now nobody needs to abide by the first I want it or first DM/PM on anything, correct?

Fortunately, most people on here have very high standards.

Eddielasvegas could have sold me the rocking chair without PRDATR knowing that he barely beat my PM. Eddie and I have done several transactions together and could have favored me instead. But Eddie is a very stand up guy and told me, after telling me I could have it, that PRDATR had actually barely beat me with a post. Was what it was. I was going to give it to my daughter and until now, nobody else knew.

I had barely looked at my phone when those items popped up. I had just finished church. Don't get me wrong, I'm not the best example in my mind, but I try.

I do look at the Classifieds frequently. But many days go by that I don't check them at all or until the evening when things slow down. Everybody has the same opportunity. If someone really wanted or really needed something and contacted me, and told me, if I was not in great need I let them have it.

So why am I the bad guy? Where do I scam or unfairly take advantage?

Do I just take? Maybe I'm very blessed because I do give back, or maybe it's the way I live my life?

Was it fair that on my first hunt I shot a very, very nice deer? I didn't know how really fortunate I was. And it was, of course, I ultimately by chance.

How much time have you donated to Boy Scouts? To Church youth groups? To other groups?

How many of you have certified for rappelling being terrified of heights, and then stand at a 100 foot cliff's edge, tethered by a small rope, helping others face their fear and proceed over the edge and down safely, while being terrified the whole time? And be ready to go over quickly and down to help in case anything went wrong?

Or how many have stopped at an accident scene to try and prevent others from getting injured by traffic only to narrowly avoid getting hit, but then watching a guy behind you get hit, tossed through the air and die? ( Recker and the Red Mountain 202 ten years ago.) That really messes with your mind!!!!!

I've not discussed those things or many other things because I don't believe in doing things for recognition. I try to help because I can, and that's just me!

But I get tired of the undeserved bashing. If you have a problem with me, let's resolve it in private.
