What breed do you have?

how much do you hunt with them?

do you do any competitions with them?

Two Britts of the OG variety.

A male and female that just turned 2 yrs.  Siblings from different litters born a couple weeks apart  No formal training for these two, just getting out chasing birds 2-3 x a week from mid Nov. thru the end of the season.  Birds and genetics make for a bird dog and both were pointing and retrieving after a month or two of bumping and chasing.

I've had a GSP, EP, Lab, American Britt and now a few of the EB's.  I've made alot of great memories along the way with all of them and miss the ones that are gone way too soon.

Here's hoping that the chicks on the ground can survive the next few weeks until the monsoons arrive and we will have birds to chase next fall!

I miss hunting over dogs. I had a Brit and a lab that was a natural flushing dog. I lived out in Vail before it exploded, and hunted at the end of my driveway before work in the mornings.  30 plus years ago… the good ol days, lol.

Good looking EBs you got there. You get them from Keller here in AZ?

I have an Airedale terrier. Not a traditional bird dog but with training she doing pretty well

she’s almost 2 and last season was her first. She is currently doing a month of board and train with Luna Rita outfitters.

last summer and this some we did a handful of day training with LRO.

minus big game hunts we hunted every weekend of dove and quail last year.

I’m sure Kelly and Pat are doing a good job with her.

I have 3 American Brittanys. 2 males out of K nine Brittany’s here in AZ and 1 female from Prarie Oaks kennels in Iowa.

I try and hunt every weekend possible from November till season ends.

we have done a little bit of Arizona Pointing Dog trials and a little bit of NSTRA. still learning the NSTRA game but we will get there

my female placed at NSTRA the first time she played the game while my buddy handled her because I couldn’t go

my oldest male has his Junior hunt title he got when he was younger

my boys have been used as studs a couple times and they produced really nice litters.

we have not bred the bitch yet but we may do so next year.

i enjoy training and hunting with these dogs.  The trials are more to keep them active in the summers.

I posted Drake on here many times, we self-trained (mostly him training me) and we hunted puddle ducks 98% of the time. I couldn't afford much for a regarded bloodline but he was incredibly birdy from the day I picked him up as a puppy.

I logged ~25 days/season across the AZ and UT for 12 years until I retired him. He retrieved 2500-3000 ducks and a couple handfuls of Canada geese.

Everyone that knew him loved him and he went everywhere until laryngeal paralysis set in. We got 14.5 years and our family talks about him daily. It has been almost 2 years.

Got another half-trained, family Dash now but young kids and crowded waters blocked the desire to try and continue Drake's legacy. I'll try again after the kids are grown up.

I could post hundreds but here are a few from 2yo - 12. I miss him.

Labs get under your skin,  become your kin…, I’ve had at least one for 34 years now.  Six total… Got one now,but he’s a pet, ball obsessed  dufus.
