vinihunt Report post Posted July 19, 2010 our tradionally trip to Red River over 4th of July..our boys caught hefty fish at private pond where my parents stay at a nice rental cabin (Rio Colorado Cabins) we stayed at river ranch rv park where I caught few nice 17" fish with fly rod and moquite / rengade flies behind the camp...cant wait to go back again! jackshoe Report post Posted July 20, 2010 Looks like a good time was had by all. Red River is my favorite vacation spot-my wife and I used to go every year. We especially liked the stream fishing around Red River-Castilla Creek, Comanche creek, and Red River among others. Brings back some nice memories. The smiles on your boys faces are something you can treasure for a life time. It's great to see you getting them out and introducing them to the outdoors a an early age.
