I have built a couple that catch water and store it, but seems to take a while for them to hit it but when they do they wont stop .

It will take time. Once a couple ruts go through the area it will be awesome. Usually takes a couple years for the deer to start hitting consistently.

Wow thats awesome Ive always wanted to try something like this.. What would be the best way to set one of these up but to keep cattle out of it? Would a small fence, jumpable by deer obviously, work? or would a short fence even be legal lol
