First group at 500 yards with new rig!!!!

Got my new 264 win mag two weeks ago and rushed to get everything together for my upcoming hunt. I ordered everything over night to load and so I could start to work my load up but I ordered Berger 140 gr VLDs and when it came in they sent me barnes 127gr LRX was not to happy but did not have the time to ship back. So I had to work with what I got. And come to find out my gun loves the 127 gr LRX so I was lucky the first load I worked up was amazing. I think I may just sick with the load.

Gun is Remington 700 with shilen 26" barrel HS precision stock scope is vortex 6.5x20x50.

For the load it's 57.8gr of IMR 4350 with CCI LRM primers, hornady 7mag case necked down and 127gr barnes LRX bullet.

Yep u might want to stick with that one! Of course you may have a new gun that will shoot most loads very well. Congrats!

Yeah. After brake in I'm going to try the 140 VLDs just for the BC

My dad did all the work. He dose it at of his house. Not any big name gunsmith but can't beat the price.

That's Awesome! Your going to love the .264. My 264 is shooting 3004 FPS with Berger 140 vld,CCI #250 primer & 60.6 grains or R22. It shoots 1/2 moa.
