Willyhunts2 Report post Posted July 1, 2014 The guy I bought mine from did the same thing but on the top side and it is a rear wheel. Don't really want a rear spare so took it off. Willyhunts2 Report post Posted July 2, 2014 The bolt pattern is the same tire size is diff. To get out of a jam the front would work in back but the back is to big for the front. Maybe the newer ones or different company's have different bolt patterns. I have a 2007 Polaris ranger 700. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
rossislider Report post Posted July 2, 2014 The front and rear lug pattern are the same on my 2013. I use a front as a spare. Size wise, it isn't as different from the rear as one might think. Biggest difference is width. As previously stated, running a front tire on the rear isn't a long term solution, but it works very well as a short term spare.
