That being said, we are now one nasty winter from the elk dropping back into the lower country during the late hunt, as the feed in the burns is less abundant every year as the new undergrowth is getting bigger and choking out a lot of the feed the was coming up in the burns. maybe this year is the year the elk drop off. i sure hope so. that hunt has been a slaughter since the burn and those elk need to drop into the lower, nasty country with less access to end the slaughter. most people are not willing to do what it takes to kill bulls once they drop off the rim 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
