2006 Bowtech Allegiance

Recommended Posts

Gauging interest because I'm not really sure I want to do this, but...

For sale:

2006 Bowtech Allegiance, Realtree HD green.

  • 70lb limbs
  • 27.5" DL
  • Bowtech's binary cams with smooth mods.
  • 1 yr old string built by AZ Custom Bowstrings (BCY452X).
  • G5 Meta peep
  • Torqueless grip
  • 34" ATA, 7" brace height.

Spot Hogg Hogg-It Hunter, large guard, 5 pin fiber optic, sight light.

QAD Ultra Pro rest in camo.

Aftermarket string stop (can't remember brand).

Alpine Archery Soft-Loc 5 arrow quiver.

Braided sling.

Package price: $500

I'm selling because my shoulders have been repaired multiple times and I've got another surgery coming up this spring. I need a bow that's easier on the draw, not that this one is difficult or abusive by any means. Its just time for me to take advantage of technological improvements and my desire to shoot more often in the off season in more "target" style venues will require something more low impact. For those not familiar with this model it is widely regarded as one of Bowtech's very best and a parent to their current line of smooth drawing bows. For as much as I'd like to keep this, I just can't afford to have 2 bows especially with what new ones cost now.

I might be willing to part this out if no one is interested in the complete bow but lets see how this goes for now. Lousy photo below, I'll get better ones up in the morning. Package will be as pictured minus the arrows and stabilizers.

I think they change the draw by mods

My 2006 ally was adjustable no draw mod swaps

They did have speed mods or smooth

Presmyk: I'd like to give this a few days before deciding to part it out but if it came to that, I think $300 is fair for the bare bow.

Hunt1down: DL is adjustable with Bowtech mods from 26"-30."

Oops, perhaps I'm wrong. I may have been thinking about the speed/smooth mods, sorry.

Extremely forgiving bow! Friendly valley, not 1 that will destroy your shoulder as many current bows seem to be geared towards doing. Many consider the Allegiance (2006) to be 1 of the greats!

I have had a few elk, deer, and pig over for dinner that hated a bow just like this. 😜

All you have to do is take it to a shop and have them change the cams and you're golden. Loved mine
