free gas

A driver of mine made a mistake and luckily caught it before driving the truck. I have 33 gal of gas / diesel mix. Does anyone want any?

Good catch!! Coulda been an expensive mistake! We have a lot guy at work who had a habit of filling new diesels with gas. Made lots if money off his mistakes until they fired him.

Just sift the diesel out.

And depending on the amount of diesel in the gas, older American vehicles will burn it just fine.

I did that once. I think it was AM/PM. Had a green handle on the unleaded, and filled the powerstroke. Noticed it as I was hanging up the pump. Towed it back to the yard, and burned up 4 drill pumps emptying the tank. Good times.

Did it once myself. Pulled in to a shell station and parked next to the green handle. Pumped in several gallons before I knew it wasn't diesel. I drove it 4 miles home and called the dealer. They sent a tow truck and it cost me $500. I could have kicked myself in the a$$ if I wasn't so fat.

My neighbor in ND puts a gallon of gas per 50gal if I remeber correct in his tractors in the winter. He says it does the same thing as the anti gel except it's way cheaper. Not sure id try that on a $175,000 tractor.
