I Was wondering what bullets shoot the best in your opinion or at least give me a good place to start so I dont have to buy the whole store to find the right cartridge. azcouesandelk Report post Posted August 20, 2007 My dad has the Remington 700 Mountain Rifle in .25-06 and he has been shooting 100 grain nosler ballistic tips for the past 8 years and they group the best for him. Schmitty Report post Posted August 21, 2007 Mine likes the 100 grain Barnes triple shocks the best behind a stiff load of IMR 4350. My buddies is partial to accubonds that I load with H4831sc. justanotherpunk Report post Posted August 21, 2007 I have been shooting this cartridge for a little over 20 years and the rifle has been used by at least a dozen friends of the family killing more of these little whitetail than I can count using 46GR of H4831 and Hornady 110GR SP's. My rifle always seems to respond better at higher pressures and 46GR seemed to be all that it would accomodate safely. Great gun in an even better cartridge.
