This rifle was built by a friend of mine. Hes been building for himself for a while, and he just started his own business building custom rifles (precision craft rifles). He took my old winchester model 70 30-06 and turned it into this beast. Im shooting 53 grains of h4831 at 2925fps. It has a razor gen 2 scope on it.

Sorry, i was at work. Ill go down the list.

Twist: 1:8

Trigger: timney set around 1 lb

Base and rings: night force

Brass: lapua

Primer: cci br2

Bullet: 140 berger vld hunting

Since i dont have my notes in front of me i will have go off of memory on the rest.

ES: 7fps

2.995 to the ogive

And it liked it jammed but i didnt feel comfortable with that being a hunting rifle. Groups titened back up with a .120 jump. Furthest i have loaded away from the lands. When i get a chance to go through my notes i will give an exact.

I looked at my notes and i was a lottle off. The group that shot 1.4" at 560 yards was 52 grains 4831 seated at 2.335 to the ogive wich is 2.995 coal. It had an es of 22 fps.

I had a load that shot 1.71" at 560 yards and it was 53 grains 4831 2.330 to the ogive and it had an es of 4 fps.

Very nice. I know a Sendero contour is about as big as you can put in a Gamescout. How much stock is on either side of the barrel? Im wanting to get one but thinking about going with the Gamewarden cause of the wider front end.

He's just getting started out of Oracle. He has his own rifle range with steel gongs out to 1400 yards. He does everything by word of mouth right now until he can build up his business.

Absolutely amazing the accuracy you are getting out of it. Even if I had a rifle that shot that well, I don't think I could make it shoot that well. Excellent marksmanship for sure. Thanks for sharing all the details. I've had a really hard time with Bergers in my 6.5 - not sure if it's a bad batch but I'll load some right up to the lands and they seat well, but tight. Others I've backed off as much as 20/1000 and they still won't seat. One side hits the lands - probably need to straighten them - where they hit is always the same spot.

Congrats on an outstanding rifle, and of course being able to shoot it to its potential.
