I just used a Canyon I had purchased, put 80 lbs of ice in for a deer hunt, opened it on day 6 for ice and to cool my deer, had better than 70 lbs of the origional ice and only 1/2" of water in bottom, Oh yea, no hassle life time warranty as well. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Randall Report post Posted November 1, 2016 Ice chest are like optics, buy the best that you can afford. I personally own both the Yeti and the canyon coolers. Ice retention is 100 percent dependent upon how you pack and use them. I think that the Yeti still has the edge on the market considering quality and ruggedness. I use ice chest daily.
