I really don't expect answers posted on the www If a certain person was planning a day trip to go walk a few miles around the mogollon rim (no ATV access area) the weekend of April 1st would they have a good chance of finding some fresh browns? elkaholic Report post Posted March 3, 2017 got to remember we had a bit of snow - so most likely elk were on the move towards winter ranges this yr . winter range areas are available on elk data info at G&F also remember they will like /use the sunny edges of canyons/ ravines / mtns off the rim areas for travel as well as bedding if you can best guess where winter beds are - that'll be the most productive antler drop areas along with winter travel routes 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
