No phone capability but it will text, run maps like a gps and has an SOS button for actual emergencies. HuntHarder Report post Posted December 20, 2020 Inreach is where its at. If you do a little research, you can ususally find them for $300 and then you pick a subscription plan. I activate mine august thru february and spend $39.99 a month plus like a $50 activation charge. Fairly inexpensive to have the piece of mind in your pack.
