Buddy told me today that all fish 3-5lb bass including small mouth. Said the slabs "Large Crappie" were on fire at Roosevelt last 2 days. Didn't say on what and I didn't ask to be fare. Wind suck up here right now.

They been catching them at bartlett for 2 months. They were catching them at Roosevelt salt end really good a month ago.

Catching them in  Patagonia too. If you want them now is the time to go after them. I've never caught one or fished for them but it certainly looks like a good time.

You should look into hiring a guide if you don't want to waste your time fishing.

lol, I never waste my time fishing… even a bad day fishing beats staying home and doing yard work like I am today.  I seem to have a knack for missing the spring bite though. I’m gonna plan on next weekend and hope for the best. With my luck we’ll see another  front move in though.

It's been really hit mis, some guys are getting some and most of the people getting just a couple in the salt. Water is 64 degrees and clear. I manage to get one about every mile or so depending on the day.

So, how many miles do you cover? lol!   I appreciate the update, I’ll either hit Rosie next Friday, or at the least make Bartlett Saturday unless we have gale force winds like today . My boats gonna divorce me if I don’t pay it more attention.

I’ll be in a red bass tracker with my yellow lab. Flag me down and give me the fishing report if you see me.
