There was no issue with 48 hours before the hunt. The hunt was going. He may have had a different hunt starting later that month but the law doesnt say 48 hours before YOUR hunt. It says 48 hours before ANY hunt. He knew that.

I understand that. But that doesn't matter. It's any hunt. And there was an elk hunt going.

Guess I shouldn't have made fun of flatlander for reading comprehension. That makes more sense. I thought he was flying in early August but if he was flying within 48 hours of his hunt that just solidifies what he was doing.
