Antler assassin Report post Posted May 11 Our little family ranch is looking to find a source for cow hay. Doesn’t have to be available right now. We would be looking at between 250-500 bales. Roofer Billy Report post Posted May 11 At 5 dollars a bale . Your lucky to get bailed tumbleweeds. Or pure moldy hay. Cheapest I can find it is 12.50 a bail. And getting someone to commit to regularly delivering it,or even having it available is a nightmare. I have been trying to get a semi a week delivered, with 70 percent alfalfa and 30 percent burmuda 3 wire Bails. And get all kinds of promises. But every week I have to call several different people to get a truck load. And I'm paying a average of 12.50 to 14.00 a bail. He's gotten healthy enough to throw a 3 wire bail over his head like it's a 10 pound bag of potatoes.. 63 years old now and does 250 sit ups every morning and 100 push ups without stopping.
