Way to early scouting

Recommended Posts

I don't want my daughter to waste the one point she had to get a rifle tag, so my goal is to look at every antelope in the unit and pattern the one that fits the  best.

I know peak growing season is the next couple of months, but can remember if its mass or length that grows the most. Does anyone know?

I would have guessed they were nearly done growing by now

The horns are like fingernails, they don't really stop growing.

what unit?

It's not about horn growth but rut activity.

Waiting 3-5 weeks would be better. Bucks will be on the move.

Good luck

3c.  The unit i live in.   Scouting takes place within an hour of where I sit.  Fun fact, I didn't think she had a snowballs chance in phoenix so I didn't put to much attention in the hunt number and I thought i put her in for 2c, where i have been watching a giant buck.

She might not have been drawn if you had put her in there. Maybe a good mistake

My buddy has a 2C tag.

Are you willing to share information?

I think in the hunting world, that's like asking if you're willing to share your wife. Probably not gonna happen!
