Water catchment

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have and use the Arizona game and fish wildlife water-catchment book? What’s you opinion on the book?

I have one that I would be happy to let you borrow. It will save you the mistake that I made in purchasing it. Let me know.

If you are exploring a new unit to hunt it can be helpful.

Other than that, its just looks good on the shelf.

Hey, I was wondering why do they call them trick tanks?

Because when you walk up to them they will do a trick for you. :P

Maybe trick is a simple term for trickle.....which is what the water does in most trick tanks, not a flowing gushing collection of water but a simple trickle of water as a collection source.

That is what I always thought, but I been wrong many a time before......

Because of the float valve on the smaller tank, they are hooked up to a main large rain water collector tank that feeds the smaller tank. Great question, but thats my guess and 2 cents :)
