UggRedBilly Report post Posted Monday at 04:45 AM Ive been using the same bow for almost 15 years. I wanna get something newer. I had a bear Cruzer since I was 10. I am a 24.5 inch draw. I went to bass pro to get a look at the Bear Adapt 2. But I was told I have to buy the bow then I can shoot it, and if I can't return it if I dont like it. Does anyone know any shops that will let me test a few bows out before I make a choice? Another question, I have shot very well with me bear bow, just want something newer and a bit lighter. I am perfectly fine with buying another bear it's been great! But should I go for a Matthew's instead for double or triple the price? Has it been worth it for everyone else? Or since I am happy with bears product is it a good idea to stick with that? Thank you all!
Roosevelt Mark Report post Posted Monday at 06:35 AM Go to Scheels, lots of great used trade in bows, you can shoot them at the store.you have a short draw length so the could be a challenge finding a fit. Or jump in and buy a new LIFT, Matthews. Try archery hq also in Chandler, Bow Tec Kings. Don't hurt the budget as bad as hoyt or Matthew.
thegunsmith2506 Report post Posted Monday at 12:50 PM We ran into the same issue trying to buy my wife a new bow for her elk hunt this year. None of the stores would let her shoot before she bought it. We had to go to Henderson to pick up a car so I looked up a few archery shops there. Thankfully they let her shoot several bows all set up exactly the same. Turns out she hated the bow she thought she wanted. After shooting several bows she settled on this one. Its so much nicer than her 15 year old Diamond she has been shooting. Its easy to adjust and left some of the budget for a better sight and rest. There was only 1 other bow she thought was close and after shooting them side by side she decided it wasn't worth another thousand dollars for the higher end bow. I would try to shoot a few before you buy one. https://www.scheels.com/p/84010781259/?store=&cq_src=google_ads&cq_cmp=22740401995&cq_con=186971440292&cq_term=&cq_med=pla&cq_plac=&cq_net=g&cq_pos=&cq_plt=gp&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22740401995&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsqD7osrfjgMVdQ7vAh0JLR-2EAQYBiABEgI0iPD_BwE

HuntHarder Report post Posted Monday at 04:53 PM 1-3 year old top tier bow if you are trying to save money. I'm still shooting a Mathews Triax, as most of the newer ones didn't offer much more than what a Triax does. By some standards, my Triax is a dinosaur. 😆. Most shops let you shoot bows before you buy them.

bwana Report post Posted yesterday at 01:38 AM Arizona archery club, 1115W Deer Valley Rd. Great people, you can shoot any bow in the store, they set them up to your draw weight and poundage. I bought my last 2 bows there.
