Trailer water pump

Looks like my water pump is starting to go. Pumping slower, noiseir etc.

The factory one (5503-4v15-b636) is old and info on it/direct replacement is hard to find.

 

In my mind, "any" pump that works off of 12v, is of similar PSI/GPM should work.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thats what ive read, and im happy to order one, i just dont which one.

The only differences are mainly noise and flow rates. I’d find a shurflo with similar inlet and outlet setup to your existing so you don’t have to change any plumbing and call it a day. I’d keep your old one on the trailer as an emergency spare just in case it ever goes out in a hunt

 my pump has a screen that can get blocked and reduce water pressure. 

any pump works that 12V or even 110 if you run it off generator. Amazon has  multiple pumps that are $50 vs $200 for pentair - some are louder than others.   I would target sone with the sam PSI - most are 45psi with a 3 GPM - but there are some that go up to 75psi

Shurflo. Make sure it has male threaded fittings going to female compression on the hoses. Last one had female quick connect and has a tendency to leak. Also what Redman said about the screen prefilter.

All of the above on shurflo and filters. Also look at one with an expansion tank or add an expansion tank while you’re at it. Helps make it quieter and less running overnight for quick water demand when someone flushes the toilet.
