SOLD on GB.

Listed on Gun Broker penny auction.

I am selling my high quality like new Browning SA 22 semi automatic take down rifle. This is in excellent condition with a Browning take down hard case. The pictures show the wonderful condition. The rifle is topped off with a Leupold VX II 2x7 Compact scope, has after market sling swivel studs installed.

This rifle was manufactured in Belgium in 1971 and is 55 years old. It has hand checkered wood and hand engraving.
Im the 2nd owner and never shot it. Based on the condition I am guessing only fired it a few times.

I am located in Tucson. $1100   $1000  if picked up at my home or I can also ship for actual cost. I also will be in PHX this coming Monday if someone wants to meet me there.

I will respond in the order I receive PM’s or someone stating I will take it.

Thanks Phil

These are so cool.  If I was closer, I would probably just have to buy everything you have Phil!  We have similar taste in guns!

Thank you for the positive comment. It’s just time to pass a few guns on. More will be posted over the next few months.
I just need to sort through all I don’t use. Slowly I will put these up for sale.

Same!  Some of your SxSs have been so tempting!  I just need that money tree in the backyard to grow.  Good luck with the sale!

+1 for a super great/fun little rifle!   My father bought one back in the 80's, and I was fortunate to have it handed down to me.

Also +1 for anyone dealing with Phil.    I purchased a great M77 from Phil years ago, and he's great to deal with! (Whether for firearms or pecans!! ;) )

Somebody should snatch this thing up!!

Do you list on GB yourself?  I have about 15-20 guns I’ve been thinking about offloading, too many years of impulse buys.  I figured it would clean the safe out and I could put some cash toward another sheep hunt.  I have listed a couple things on there before but don’t have much history as a seller.  Curious if you had ever used a consignment service for something like that?

Also, bump for a great seller.  Got the anschutz the other day and it is nicer than described.  My niece will be fired up about it!

Thanks for the feedback on the Anschutz. Yes I have bought and sold on GB, I have not used one of the consignment services but have complemented doing this as I am currently trying to reduce my collection. I know some will come to your home and pick up then take care of everything.

I may give LSB AUCTIONS a try with 8 or 10 guns and see how it goes. They seem to have a great reputation and guns they are selling are well advertised and bring top dollar.

I believe they cover all cost but charge 20%. I did communicate with them a while back and when I told them some of the guns I would possibly consign with them they told me to send them a list and they would work with me on  the commission.

When I list I start at 1 penny list for 10 to 14 days with no reserve. Post lots of clear pictures with a good description. More times than not the gun sold for more than I expected. I will post the link when I post this rifle on GB. It’s always an unknown when you start at a penny but I guess it sells for what the market feels it’s worth.
