Isaiah Report post Posted Saturday at 11:21 PM Hey fellas, so I wanna test the waters on something I want to startup, it will essentially be a consistent sweepstakes here in AZ, Tucson to be more local but can deliver and meetup in all of AZ. The gear would consist of hunting and outdoor items, bows, camo, gear and etc. So how it would work is I would post an item for the sweepstake and there would be so many “raffle slots” at a specific price point and I would randomly draw a winner for example…. I would post a Mathews lift for 30$ a spot with 55 slots available and once all slots are filled I would have a random generator select a number and that person would win the bow. It’s somewhat of a business idea I had and wanted to test waters and see what people think about it before I pull the trigger. All feedback is welcome. Good or bad. Thanks

deercrazy Report post Posted yesterday at 12:04 AM so you have my mind thinking. Would you purchase items and then resale them at auction, or would it be that people consign products that you sell?
krp Report post Posted yesterday at 12:06 AM That's illegal. Unless there is a free way to enter, no purchase necessary, it's not a sweepstakes. It's a raffle or lottery. Kent
Crazymonkey Report post Posted yesterday at 12:06 AM 501c needs business license and paperwork for the 501. If you make a profit from it as a drawing it's a business and would also require a license.

krp Report post Posted yesterday at 12:31 AM Raffles in Arionza Flyer_090825 Selling raffle tickets in Arizona is illegal, unless it is done following A.R.S. § 13-3302. This guide may help you understand raffle requirements. Kent
