matt Report post Posted 20 hours ago You can pay a pro to do it for around $50. You would have to Google who is in your area. Thats a really cool buck.

Ed F They have events where they will have scorers in your area at Cabela’s, sportsman’s or maybe the AFGFD wildlife event they had this weekend. It’s actually free but you can pay $50 and they’ll enter it in the books and give you a copy of your score sheet and things. Pretty cool. I read they have individuals that you can take it to as well but you would have to look up which club it would qualify under.

Ed F While you're technically right, as the chair of Pope and Young you know he is talking about the $40 fee to enter them into the book.

Thanks Download a score sheet from either B&C or P&Y. Instructions are on the scoresheet. Not difficult, you should be able to get very close.
404jefferies Report post Posted 55 minutes ago Would it be typical or non? Thanks
Swivelhead Report post Posted 15 minutes ago 25 minutes ago, 404jefferies said: Would it be typical or non? Thanks Score the rack typical then non-typical. IMO, it is definitely non-typical. Non-typical antlers are 1st scored as a typical, differences noted on score sheet. Abnormal tines are then measured and added to the score. For a typical score, abnormal tines are subtracted. Hardest part of scoring a non-typical is deciding what is normal/abnormal. Unless you plan on entering it in "the book", measure it yourself and subtract nothing. Gross score best ID's the animal, nets are for fish.
