Currently has a Trane 5 ton heat pump with the air handler in the attic. No extras just equipment and labor. Just looking for comparison on total cost of what other people have paid recently. AZbowhntr Report post Posted yesterday at 01:58 PM The unit price shouldn't be hard to come up with but the installation prices will be all over the place. The high end companies that we see on TV all the time typically charge 3X the amount of the unit cost. So if you get a 5K unit it will cost you about 15k for full installation. My son-in-law works for one of them and me being a home inspector I don't refer them because of the cost and all the up-selling they try to do. Definitely shop around.
