Rim Roads?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if the roads are open up around Clintwells. Hoping to get the kids up there next weekend to do some turkey hunting.

Thx

I doubt roads are open, but you can call the Coconino NFS regarding status.

Not sure about alpine, but here is the live webcam for sunrise ski resort:

about 9000 ft- still looks like a TON of snow---

Game and Fish has also warned Turkey hunters of road closures and spots where snow is and creeks are running @ 220% of capacity-

Yea the road to the blue is open. You can get there from the red hill road or from Luna Lake way. Snow is going pretty fast in Alpine but alot of snow still around on the north faces. Alot of the roads on top are still covered in snow.

Roads are closed around Blue Ridge on the rim, called the ranger station today and they said it might be 2 to 3 more weeks till they open. Lots of trees down and still heavy snow drifts in areas. Don't know where AZkiller got his info. The 211 road off 87 is open to Long Lake but is closed west of the Long Lake turnoff.
