So how have you been cooking your dove?

/>Bacon, pineapple, bell pepper, onion and teriyaki all on a toothpick

This sounds great! Way to think outside the norm. This would be phenomenal with quail and I WILL try it!

Dove Burritos/tacos in the crock pot...

Start with a base of beef flavor "better that bullion", 2 cans of diced green chili's, about a half an onion (diced), a little fresh cilantro and how ever many dove breasts you need/want for a meal (season to your liking)...put it all in the crock pot on low before you head to work...

When you get home strain the dove breasts leaving the chilis, onion and cilantro...Shred the dove with forks (much like pulled pork) and mix with your chili and onion. Serve on a flower tortilla with sour cream and salsa (or what ever fixins you prefer...can also substitute the flower tortillas for tostata shells or taco shells.)

Sounds delicious, especially since you don't list dove as one of the ingredients.

:D :D :D :D
