While out on my hunt over the weekend I spotted something that didn't look right a couple ridges over. After moving a couple times to resetup I could see that it was a Ram! I thought it was kind of cool to see one out in the field in the lower areas. I put my hunt on pause to try to see how close I could get to him, and I was shocked to see that getting within 40 yards of him wasn't very hard even when making all kinds of noise.

Here it is after I moved a couple times, still a long ways away, about 600 yards or so.

Last photo, I was about fourty yards at this point, then I remembered why I was out there in the first place and left him alone.

I would have classified that as a non-typical spike coues and put him on my wall, just give the game warden this look--->

I thought that was the worlds largest spike. That might have been a big fine for me

Anyways awesome pics there man. And nice job getting up close.
