hornhunter10 Report post Posted February 16, 2014 I had the opportunity to go on this hunt with my good friend and cousin titan merrill. we had pretty good morning finding elk. we found 4 or 5 other bulls when we glassed these ones bedded up on the side of the ridge. he was with 3 other big bulls and we couldnt decide which one to shoot. as we sat there for 30 min deciding which bull to shoot titan finally settled the crosshairs of the 30-378 on the bull and squeezed one off. the bull never moved. as i watched the other three bulls run up the hill i thought for sure he shot the wrong bull. as soon as we came around the corner and saw what he shot I was assured that we shot the right one. congrats to titan on this bull. couldn't of happened to a better guy. 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
