coatimundi01 Report post Posted May 5, 2014 Went for a hike yesterday in the Catalinas to check out the plane wreck at the bottom of Butterfly trail. Took my call with me just for fun and as I'm sitting at the bottom of the canyon in the shade I let out a couple cuts. Immediately a bird up the hill gobbles back. A couple more calls and a couple more gobbles! Move into position, get my phone ready, and I see him coming in full strut! I've never tried calling for them or hunted them so this was pretty cool!
