Meteor Shower tonight around midnight to 2 am

Saw that on CNN - up to 1000 per hour. Love nature's firework shows. The best are those totally unexpected times super early, still pitch black out, hiking to a spot and take a second to catch your breath and a giant streak across the sky and you just happen to catch it all the way from start to splintering off, to nothing. Happens only a couple times in a lifetime, and then, only if you are there to see it.

Been out with the camera for awhile, nothing really yet. Almost 1am and its pretty slow, and lots of clouds for the view north.

I poked me head out around 2:30 for 5 minutes and saw nothing. No, no light pollution nearby.

i was house sitting in san tan valley (so not too much light pollution), from where we were though we couldnt see any. My brother drove out to the desert on the edge of tucson and said he could see quite a bit
