Hanging a shoulder mount

Recommended Posts

I wouldn't trust my shoulder mounts to a drywall anchor. You don't need a drywall anchor if going into a stud. Not sure how you would even get a drywall anchor to work in a stud?

My 4x4 muley fell off the wall twice due to using a wall anchor. The first incident i incorrectly blamed on the cat, but kitty was long gone when it happened the second time. It doesnt feel that heavy, but unless you want to come home to find your hard won trophy onthe ground, use the biggest screw that will fit in your mount and stick it on a stud! Trust me.
