Assuming G&F is now going to reject applicants who do not have a valid CC at the time of assessment, leaves me no choice but to do paper apps.

I am unwilling to risk losing permits or BP's due to a wobble with a banking institution during the 1-2 day window that I have no control over.

Doubt paper apps will be around much longer, I'll deal with that upcoming dilemma when appropriate.

I wonder if they are just now going to get a decline and then reject the application? If that is what they call flawless, I'm confused. If GnF and or the vendor that does the draw/online system, is now going to use the Visa/MasterCard Association account update file, then, yes they are error free. This process regardless of lost/stolen/fraud etc.. will automatically get the newest # from your bank when GnF/Vendor makes the card call.

 

I sure hope they are doing this, would be a shame if they didn't, i would be doing checks and paper like the old way.

A prepaid card can be compromised as easily as any other CC. Crooks are crafty.

That's what I started doing this yr. I'm sure there is a way to compromise those cards though if someone hacked into the G&F site

If they hack the G&F site all cards would be compromised.

If you buy the card and only use it for tags and not at Target, Walmart or porn sites you should be safe.

With an old fashioned blue hair check process, GnF will cash them in few days, thus funds are out of your account and it can be verified. I write a few paper checks every so often, one is for left over tags.
