Thanks TexasHunter

Recommended Posts

My 2002 toyhauler fridge started leaking ammonia, so i am assuming the cooling unit needs to be replaced. Rebuilt cooling units run on average $550. A new fridge is about $1000. I am sure i can install either myself. The fridge is 16 years old and i am not sure which is the best option. Any thoughts?

Everything I’ve read has been replacing the whole fridge, but I’m not very familiar with rebuilt cooling units. My buddy had to replace his of similar age and he said it was worth it to him to get a more efficient newer unit.

No worries man I'm glad it worked out good. was it hard to install?

It was pretty easy. I think i spent more time watching instructional videos than the install took.
