Only if you have Pointguard.

my original question was based on getting an archery deer this fall and then surrendering the tag. I wasn't sure if G&F asked questions in the process of surrendering the tag. If they had a stipulation of not being able to surrender the tag IF you already killed a deer then I would have to decide if I wanted or needed to surrender the tag before the archery season. Thanks to everyone for your insight.
