Antelope Pic's

Recommended Posts

I went out tonight to look at some antelope and got a few pictures. I finally got close enough to a buck that I believe is related to a buck that I watched a lot last year that I named Fish Hook. A muzzleloader hunter killed Fish Hook last year, but judging from the pic's I got tonight of this new buck there is definately a relation.

The first two pic's are the original Fish Hook, the second two are Fish Hook Jr., and the last pic is just an average buck but I really like the way the picture turned out.

What do you think, father and son or older brother and younger brother?

I would think the same doe had to have been fertized by the same buck in nearly consecutive years, or the two are brothers from the same year.

I'm guessing older brother and younger brother. Anyway you slice it they're both great bucks.

And by the way happy birthday, I hope you had a great one.

AWESOME bucks.. Ive always wanted a goat that has those forward curving fronts...

BUT, in that last pic, it looks like you'd have to shoot him out of a flowerbed!! Reminds me of the 06-07 super raffle elk tag bull fiasco!

At least I've got a New Mexico antelope tag.
