Unable to understand how many on this site are able to ride bicycles

Heck I joined this site back in april of 04 and class of 89 from palo verde. Does that make me a winner.

I went to Palo Verde for a year and a half, so I would have to say no. LOL

I'm always going to try and get the best deal. You don't know what a guy will take until you ask.

I have a family member that is a multi millionaire, and due to his style of bargaining, we quit going on vacation with him to Mexico. It was embarrassing how far he would beat people down, to next to nothing on their goods. 3 dollars to him, makes no difference, but to them is huge. But my family member enjoys it. And they can always say no.

I see things differently, this was a community of hunters that helped each other out. Now it seems like it is a commerce site to pick off people, who sometimes are in real need. I am not trying to tout myself as a Gandhi. I have purchased from guys in dire straights, I could go in for the kill. I wanted them to be able to buy back the items, when they got their finances in order. And be able to get back into the field. Sometimes they are able, and sometimes I end up with items I wouldn't normally purchase.

Some of these were loaners. I would send them out with kids and their dads. Not everyone can afford the initial cost to hunt.

I am not selling my stuff because I have to, I will probably donate some of these to a charity for youth if they dont sell.

on a different topic, I picked up 2 suppressors today, from NFA jail. 6.5 months wait. Turkey camp will be fun with the Salvo on my Beretta. If you see me up in the camp in Unit 23, ask me and I will let you shoot it, but for a cost of 6 dollars a shell, I mean, I will cover the shell. 3 stamps in total 2 cans and one sbr. 20180402_170747.jpg

All I'm saying is if a guy is asking 500 for a riffle why not see if he will take 450. No harm no foul. This site is for helping each other and I have both benefited and helped out. Asking what a guy will take does not change that. I do understand that sometimes people ask too low, like say 200 for your 500 dollar riffle. To me there's a line and you have to stay respectable. But again this dosnt mean that this site isn't about helping because of that. Sweet gun setup btw.

The suppressor was in the safe. It's a riot to shoot full auto. I borrowed a friends registered lower. I just need 40,000 to get my own.

My bro in law went to Palo Verde and there should be a '?' at the end of your sentence. So no to winning in both cases, buddy.

The 24th of July 2009 to be exact. And it was a help each other site. And if you would look a little further then your myopic existence, if we don't retain hunters and recruit young hunters, we will lose hunting as we know it. I see you joined in 2016, so from your experience you have your views. But thank you for trying to teach me the ways if the world.

So selling items and buying items is attributed to retaining and recruiting hunters? are you one Crack?

other than that you missed my point. the internet has been like this as far as selling and buying since all gore invented the internet.

the buying and selling part has NOTHING TO DO WITH HUNTERS HELPING HUNTERS.

It was actually invented so colleges could share information and for porn. Maybe you missed my point, Coueswhitetail was not primarily an e-commerce site. It was a place to get with other like minded individuals. And when people sold things, they would throw some $ to Amanda to support the site. That is why her site is successful. Now if we only knew of someone with a failed e-commerce/Hunter message board to get his expert opinions....do we know anyone who fits that bill?

I pretty much gave away a nice youth bow and accessories to a family getting thier kid into archery so he had a bow to shoot with his siblings. I watched them shoot together as a family multiple times after that.

Ive bought stuff and held until people had the cash to buy back, and Ive had others do the same for me when I was tight.

Yup thats how most people operate that I know or hang around with. heck we use it were done with it, then give it to some kid that isnt looking for a handout and uses the equipment they have.

Most of my old fishing stuff went that way I'd be fishing see a few kids on the bank with there dads motor up to them and give them the stuff I dont want. when my buddy died I had most of his fishing stuff he wanted me sell to help with med bills. I dont like selling crap so just drove be the parks and gave it to kids fishing with the parents or grandparents.

the fishing forums kids and there parents were always asking for hand outs. never gave them crap cause they felt entitled to it. we had people beg on forums all the time its pretty sad. we'd put free stuff on the forums alot and people would call and want you to sort it out for them and hold out the good stuff.

one time I had probably 200+ bags of brand new baits and a ton of good used stuff put it on azbasszone for free. 2 jack-offs( and I knew both of them) came over and stayed in the shop sorting through it. I was like jack-offs take it all or nothing. they argued about it. told them fine leave. they took the box. I left the shop and a buddy of my drove by the shop 1 hour later. these idiots were in the parking lot sorting the stuff out. came in the next morning and they left things in the parking lot they didnt want. open bags etc etc pretty pathetic thats when I decided screw selling it just give the stuff away as its not worth the hassle.

as far as the rest. you can tell who uses it as a neighborly sale as you call it and use it as another backpage/ craigslist ad. there very few that are neighborly ;)

I bought these off of a group of guys driving a black van with a red stripe and a spoiler on the roof. They were asking for 30,000 for the collection, but I talked them down to 500. They really needed the cash and wanted to make a quick deal. I pity the fool that pays too much.
