I have a really great looking/great shooting rifle that unfortunately I have to sell . It is a Cooper Jackson Game chambered in 280 Ackley Improved (2 years old, 1 hunting season of use). It has several upgrade options that I added when I ordered the gun; upgraded wood to AAA+ Claro Walnut, checkered bolt knob, fluted barrel, spiral fluted bolt, Inlayed swivel studs. The pictures don't do it justice. Cooper has a 1/2" guarantee at 100 yards and it easily meets that standard. The action on these rifles are slick, slick, slick. If you handload it shoots the Berger 168 VLD, Barnes 120 TTSX, 145 LRX and 168 LRX very well. If you don't like those bullets I'm sure whatever you do like to shoot it will handle fine. If you don't reload Nosler makes factory ammo in 280 AI or you can shoot factory 280 Rem ammo through it just fine (I tried the Barnes Vor-Tx 140 TTSX 280 REM and it was accurate). I took great care of it, overall condition is "like new". I am including Redding dies. Check it out let me know what you think. Message me if you want more pictures or have questions. Perfect Condition, crystal clear, high end Leupold Mark 4. Target turrets, 8.5-25x50. Excellent light transmission at dusk and dawn. Tracks perfectly through the elevation and windage rotations out to limit and back to zero. I purchased the scope originally with the mil dot reticle, didn't care for it so sent it back to Leupold and had the scope serviced by the techs and had the TMR reticle installed (Tactical Milling Reticle). I took it out for a weekend shoot a few months back since I got it back from Leupold and it hasn't seen the light of day since. I bought this scope on a gun.... the scope had a scratched reticle and I wanted to put turrets on it so I sent it off to Leupold... They called me saying that they would be replacing the scope because they didn't have the right parts? So the factory installed the knurled Leupold nobs on a brand New one and shipped it back... I mounted it and stuck it in the safe... It has never been out of my shop or my safe, never fired.... Brand new... I just acquired another scope as well and don't really need this one now... So I have found the scope without turrets for $1,100-$1,300.... (plus tax, shipping, turrets...etc)...... I am selling a Leupold VX3 8.5-25x50 LR Target Scope. Very little use. It was on a .22-250 as a paper puncher. The rifle it was on was barely shot. Beautiful scope. Has the side focus and tall target turrets. It also has the Alumina Flip Up Covers. New from the store you are looking at $1100+ for this set up. Asking $800 OBO not really interested in trades but I would consider it if you have a good trade to offer. Im in Glendale, I could ship in state if need be. Thanks!
