This was in 34A last year. We were shed hunting, when i stumbled upon this. All 20 illegals were sleeping when I first walked up.

This was Border Patrol walking them out 20 minutes later. This is why I always carry a cell phone and gps...

I hunted in 35a last year and never saw one illegal and i was literally throwing distance from border. I have the same tag this year and sure hope i see no illegals and a ton of deer :D

They are trying to get far far AWAY from the border.

when I worked on fort huachuacas this past summer I always thought it was funny that all these illegals were walking through a US military base.

Has anyone ever heard of any problems in 29?

I'm going to be hunting there in Nov, its going to be my first time down there.

I've hunted 29 on and off for the past 15 years and have not seen one illegal. I did have a scary encounter in 30A (due south of 29) once. I would carry a sidearm just to be safe just about anywhere south of I-10.

Thanks, I've been wondering. I know that you never know what to expect.

What happened in 30A?

I hunt there in 29 every year, ran into them a few times. Really no problems, they just flee the other way. Last year though I was pretty mad though cause I was sitting my Honey Hole all day in a groung blind and 10-15 of them showed up and ruined my evening hunt,,,, darn them!!!!!!!!!!
