AzHunter_15 Report post Posted June 1, 2021 Finally after all these years the opportunity presented itself to get on the famous lake st Clair and boy did it not disappoint. Only got to fish for a couple house but caught lots and the quality of fish here is incomparable. After catching smallmouth out of the black River I knew they put up a fight but hook into a 5-6 lbers is a totally different story. Say I’ll never forget! Hopefully my father will get to experience it with me soon cause I know he was a little jealous when I sent him pictures. If you every get the chance or have any doubt to not do it. Only 20 miles from downtown Detroit, but a whole different world once you go across the car ferry to get there. Hope you did some Walleye fishing too.
