DC Hunts Report post Posted May 11 Anschutz Model 64 made in Germany 22LR Target Rifle. Stainless Bull Barrel, extremely accurate gun to shoot target rifle. This gun is in very good shape. Manufactured in 1983. Belonged to my father and is in very good condition. The leather cheek pad can be removed if not needed. The Zeiss 3x9x40 scope is in very good condition as well. I’m not interested in trades or low ball offers. Text Dave at 480-849-0609 if interested. 2
PRDATR Report post Posted May 12 Which Variant (Sub Model) is this one?
DC Hunts Report post Posted May 12 The rifle was manufactured in 1983 and I found this on web. 18xx - The rifle was made between 1980 and 1987. The action/bolt/trigger is very similar to the 16xx, but with enough differences that bolts/triggers are not interchangeable.
L Cazador Report post Posted May 12 The model 64 Match did not have a sub model. It was the entry level firearm to the Match 54. The 64 action was used on several of the sporter models as well.
jeffcros Report post Posted May 12 What's the weight on the trigger pull? Do you have any groups that you have shot with it? Thanks
DC Hunts Report post Posted May 12 I don’t have a trigger pull measurement instrument. It is very light. I’d guess 2 pounds or less. It is an adjustable trigger. I inherited this gun and my dad had multiple targets he showed me of holes touching and overlapping at 50 yards and I think 100 yards. I do not have those targets though. Saguaro Report post Posted May 12 I keep checking this out. I’m a lefty and have the 1710. This is the best deal on a 22 bolt rifle this place has had. It’s a good rifle and has a higher end Zeiss. You will sell it, but it would go quicker if it was a Savage or Ruger because that’s what most of us know.
DC Hunts Report post Posted May 12 Thanks for the comment. I tried to price it well. I’d like to see the gun get some use by someone who really appreciates it like my dad did. I’m more of a hunter than a target shooter so I just am not using this rifle.

And tell us how young you are without telling us how young you are. LOL Savage hasn't put out a quality rifle that wasn't plagued with issues for decades. The Axis is a prime example as is the 93 Rimfire series. Post up a pic of that 1710, in another post as to not detract from the OP's post. 1710's are gorgeous. Saguaro Report post Posted May 12 I forgot it’s a 1416. I guess I had the 1710 stuck in my head. His dad was someone I would really get along with it seems like. I talk guns to just about any enthusiast that will listen and very very few would have a rifle/scope combo like his let alone know about them. I just hope whoever gets it respects it like it deserves. You just don’t see that many. Most people it seems are into semi auto cheap junk when it comes to 22lr. 22lr bolt actions are awesome to take to the range to train with as the center fire barrels cool down. I’ll post the pic here in the interest of keeping it near the top of the pile. My rifle isn’t anywhere close to as cool as his is so it might help out a little.

Savage did have a great 22 when they had a joint deal with Anschutz, Savage/Anschutz rifles!
