Crazymonkey Report post Posted Wednesday at 03:07 PM Was up on my 6a cow hunt in 6a last week and found this guy . Not exactly a dead head but still a dead elk . I had my buddy Dan and his 11 yr old Cooper . It was just by chance we cut across where we did to get back to where we parked. Poor guy probably lived quite awhile before he dropped. It had a arrow in the back quarter broke off. A solid 7 x 6 . Dan was trying to get a recovery tag from fish and game so we could keep it so we are just waiting to see .
