Coues Deer Distribution Across AZ....

Happened to notice this as I was paging down through the regulations (page 26).   The light color is the supposed distribution of whitetail in the state.  Something tells me they need to update their map!

Hard to believe Coues used to be considered Carp Deer -- so available that you could pick up 2nd tags even in December.  "Less" hunters (sure!) and coues are expanding their area.  Not sure I can believe what azgfd is selling.  You can't even expect to get drawn every year!

I remember those leftover December tags. I wish I was a better hunter back then. Less people for sure, not to mention no quads or SxSs.

I remember when you could get a leftover 23 December Couse tag.  Way too many clowns in this state.  We need a purge

I knew two hunters that used binos back then to "glass". We're talking late 80's early 90's. One had Doctors the other used Swarovski. No fancy scopes as a long shot was 300-400 yards.

Quads and SXS are the bain of civilization.
