buglethemin Report post Posted November 22, 2010 Well I hunted and helped friends on the 42 general hunt, and I got my buddy on his first deer ever. He took a nice 3x4, not bad for his first deer. I was holding out for a big boy, and passed on several small bucks including this one my friend took. Never found a big guy to go after, I will try again during the archery hunt. A week went by and I took my daughter in there for her Jr. hunt, and on our second day hunting, I glassed this 3x3 and we put the stalk on. Good thing for the rain and wind, it kept him bedded up in the same spot so that we could get within range. We got within 85 yards and he stood up, and she made a beautiful shot with my 270wsm, dropping him in his tracks. Enjoy the pics. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
