Thanks everyone for the congrats! How bout some lion recipes!!?

Best one I know of:

1.Marinade in bbq

2. Place on tin foil covered board

3. cook on fire for 30min

4. When cooked- throw meat away and eat the board.

Jk I've never had it but had heard its good.

Haha, you had me going for a second!

/>I love my 30-06...that caliber never fails. What grain bullet were you using?

Yes! The more I shoot mine, the more I fall in love with it. I was shooting Remington 180 grain ultra bond.

Wow, congratulations and thanks for sharing the story! That's some serious excitement right there! Good thing you had that lion tag with you! I am sure the deer are happy to be rid of that lion!

Thanks a ton! Yeah, I bet they are! Now, they can feast on their acorns a bit easier, haha.

I ate lion for a week when bear hunting in Idaho and we just soaked it in italian dressing then grilled it for a bit. It was excellent and tastes like pork. Nice cat you got and I am jealous.
