elkman Report post Posted November 21, 2013 I glassed this pig up opening day of may left over hunt this year. Made a 1.5 mile stock on him and shot him in his bed perched on some rocks overlooking three bedded coues does. I shot him at 649 yards with a 300 weatherby mag pushing 165gr nosler ballistic tips around 3450fps. He didnt make it out of his bed. After the kill i enjoyed some of his backstrap on site "delicious" Side note, i glassed for 7 days and didnt see a single buck over 100" in the area i was hunting which in the past has produced several 105+ bucks.
